    Experience Intro
    Detail
Be mesmerized by the myriad of Asian wildlife at the Chitwan National Park in Nepal! This place is home to 544 bird species, 68 mammalian species that include Royal Bengal Tigers, 58 endemic reptiles and amphibians, and 126 fish species! And these numbers don’t yet include the park’s multitude of butterflies, moths, and other wonderful insects! What will thrill you even more about this safari adventure is that you’ll go jungle trekking on the back of a friendly elephant while spotting the huge variety of animals and plants at the park! You’ll also have the opportunity to bathe these gentle giants at the Rapti River, where you’ll likewise enjoy a canoe ride to see aquatic wildlife and birds! Another thrilling attraction to this Chitwan safari is your chance to see the unique Tharu Stick Dance! This tribal dance is performed by male members of the Tharu ethnic community who have been dwellin in Nepal’s Terai region for centuries. It’s their traditional method of protecting their villages from rhinos and other wild animals through rhythmic sound of drums and clashing sticks. ◆Itinerary: *Tharu cultural show *Canoeing and bird-watching in Rapti River *Elephant ride and jungle trek to see more wildlife at the national park *Elephant bathing *Visit to Elephant Breeding Center ◆Tour Equipment: *Duffel or Rucksack bag or suitcase. *Daypack *Warm wool or synthetic hat that covers your ears (only if you are travelling in the cold season i.e January, February and December) *Goggles or sunglasses for sunbeam dust and wind. *A neck warmer is another piece of gear for extra warmth if you feel you will need it and is for cold season i.e January, February and December.
