PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED ITEMS POLICY
To insure OwlTing is a comfortable and friendly marketplace, merchant should follow our policies when listing items. Also it's merchant's responsibility to make sure that the items complies with all laws.

Items violate our policies may be removed and the merchant may be subject to other actions, including restrictions or suspension of the merchant account.
​LIST OF PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED ITEMS:
  • ­Alcohol
  • ­Animals and wildlife products (including live animals and ivory)
  • ­­Contracts
  • ­­Counterfeit items
  • Credit and debit cards
  • Currency (including digital currency)
  • ­Drugs and drug paraphernalia
  • ­Telecommunication, electronic surveillance equipment and other similar electronic
  • equipment such as cable TV de­scramblers, radar scanners, traffic signal control devices,
  • wiretapping devices and telephone bugging devices
  • Embargoed goods
  • Firearms, weapons, and knives, including pepper spray, replicas, and stun guns
  • Government documents, IDs, and licenses
  • Government or Police related items such as badges, insignia or uniforms
  • Hazardous, restricted, or regulated materials including batteries, fireworks, and refrigerants
  • Human remains and body parts
  • Items for rent and listings advertising services
  • Items that infringe copyright laws including, but not limited to, unauthorized sales of eBooks
  • Lockpicking devices
  • Lottery tickets​
  • Mailing lists and personal information
  • Medical drugs, devices, and healthcare including prescription drugs, contact lenses,
  • pacemakers, and surgical instruments
  • Obscene, seditious or treasonous materials
  • Publications, books, films, videos and/or video games that do not comply with applicable
  • laws in the country of sale and/or delivery
  • Pornography and adult material including, but not limited to, pornographic books,
  • magazines, videos and pictures
  • Recalled items
  • Shares, stock, other securities and stamps
  • Slot machines
  • Stolen goods
  • Surveillance equipment
  • ​­Tobacco or tobacco­related products including electric cigarettes​
  • Plants, seeds and weeds​
  • Pesticides
  • Offensive material including ethnically or racially offensive material
  • Items against OwlTing spirit
Food guidelines:
All food items must adhere to below guidelines if not prohibited­:
  • Expiration dates:
    all food items must be clearly and properly labelled with an expiration date. Expired food items must not be listed.
  • Packaged or sealed containers:
    ­ all food and related products should be packaged or sealed to ensure that buyer can identify evidence of tampering or defect.
  • Perishable food items:
    ­ Merchants should clearly identify in the item description the measures that they will take to ensure that the goods are properly packaged and delivered.
Prohibited Food items:
  • Listings that containing medicinal claims or claiming the item is intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease in humans and/or animals.
  • Noxious food items ­ Food which contains any prohibited substances or substances in excess of permitted proportions
  • Unpasteurized dairy products
  • Wild mushrooms
  • Any other food items hazardous to human health
