  x402 is an open payment protocol built on the HTTP standard. When your OwlPay Agent Checkout link is opened by an AI Agent, the agent can automatically detect the x402 payment endpoint, sign a USDC transaction from its pre-configured wallet, and complete the payment. No extra setup is required on your end; every checkout link is x402-compatible by default.

• Do I need to do anything special to support AI Agent payments?

  No. OwlPay Agent Checkout links are x402-compatible out of the box. If your customer uses an AI agent with a linked wallet to pay you, it just works — the same way a human customer connecting their wallet works. You receive USDC and it settles in USD, regardless of whether the payer was a human or an AI agent.
