Important Announcement: OwlPay Wallet Pro is Upgrading to an Unhosted Wallet
We are excited to announce a major upgrade to OwlPay Wallet Pro!
As part of our infrastructure improvement, we will soon transition to a non-custodial (unhosted) wallet system based on mnemonic seed phrases (BIP-39). This upgrade will give you greater control, easier backup, and enhanced security for managing your digital assets.
However, action is required to ensure you maintain full access to your existing wallet.

- Transition to Mnemonic Seed Phrases (BIP-39):
Manage multiple wallets with a single recovery phrase, simplifying backup and recovery.
- Greater Ownership and Security:
You are now in complete control of your assets. Only you hold the keys.
- Streamlined Wallet Management:
Easily create and recover wallets under one mnemonic phrase, improving flexibility and convenience.
⚠️ What You Must Do
After the upgrade, your current wallet will no longer be accessible through the OwlPay platform unless you export your private key beforehand.
To keep your existing assets safe, please export and securely store your private key by following these steps:
- Log in to your OwlPay Wallet Pro account.
- Navigate to Settings > Security > Private Key.
- Follow the instructions to export your private key.
- Store your private key securely.
➔ Important: Never share your private key with anyone.
If you fail to export your private key, you may permanently lose access to your wallet.
In limited cases, recovery may still be possible if you complete proper identity verification. If needed, please email us at customer_success@owlpay.com from your registered email address for assistance.
